Gloucestershire Archives – The Green Pledge Project

Gloucestershire Archives – The Green Pledge Project

Join us for an illustrated talk exploring the environmental records at Gloucestershire Archives, including the Green Pledge Project.

From naturalists’ journals and weather logs to records from the Forestry Commission and local conservation groups, guest speaker Marion Hill will highlight the wealth of material available.

She’ll cover the Green Pledge Project podcasts, which travel through time to discover the stories of local people who’ve protected nature and addressed climate change.

We hope this talk encourages you to visit and benefit from the archives —whether on your own or with a group.

Doors open at 7pm and the talk will start at 7.30pm, with an opportunity for questions at the end.

All of these talks are filmed and a copy available to view via our website.

Free entry, and the bar will be open.

Donations to Wotton Area Climate and Nature Network are welcome.
