SUMMARY:Propagation Masterclass: Cuttings and Division
DESCRIPTION:This relaxed and friendly course aims to grow your skills and knowledge in propagation techniques\, enabling you to produce plants at home with confidence. \nLearn how to produce a variety of garden plants through vegetative propagation – including semi-ripe cuttings and by division. Lavender\, rosemary\, shrubby salvias and penstemons are just some of the plants that can be propagated by cuttings at this time of year with many others by division\, including hardy geraniums and geums. This involves lifting the plant from the ground and separating into smaller pieces for replanting or growing on in pots. Dividing perennials regularly encourages healthy\, vigorous plants which perform year after year. \nYou’ll also get tips on the best tools\, containers and growing media to use and advice on how to grow on your plants. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions and will take home your potted cuttings.
