Learn how to produce a variety of garden plants through sowing seed and vegetative propagation including softwood cuttings, basal cuttings and division. The latter involves lifting the plant from the ground and separating into smaller pieces for replanting or growing on in pots. Dividing perennials regularly encourages healthy, vigorous plants which perform year after year.

You’ll also get tips on the best tools, containers and growing media to use and advice on how to grow on your plants. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions and will take home your potted cuttings.
